The Race of Cartoons

This was a self-initiated project exploring the different ways western cartoon characters are portrayed and represented; when it comes to race. Four cartoon characters were chosen from cartoons which have problems with racial stereotypes and underrepresentation. I created a solution to these issues by restyling the characters, using a new drawing style. And by using western colour association to colour them based on their traits and characteristics. A series of animated gifs of the new characters, containing scenes from their respected shows, was created.
